Anyway, I put him out in the yard to get some sun prior to his annual getting planted for four months and enjoying the summer/fall outdoors, and it rained buckets. His pot filled with water and I didn't notice it for a day. Too much water will cause root rot for a poinsettia, and I'm afraid I may not have gotten to him in time. We'll see.
