Good Fun

Well. The title of this post had me stumped for all of 2 seconds. I'm sure everyone out there has seen "Major League," a 1989 pic with Charlie Sheen in it. I hadn't until the other night. I highly recommend it. It has everything I want in a film: unpretentious silliness. But if you don't have a couple of hours to waste, here's a best moment clip (and no, the film is in english, its just the clips seem to be in spanish. youtube has its quirks.)

That part had to be fun.

that is one of my favorite movies! since i was raised a Tribe fan, I totally relate. Sox fans had it bad with all the near misses, but Tribe fans had it worse because they were also the laughing stock of baseball for so long.

If baseball were the deciding factor in where I lived and set down roots, it would be back to Ohio. Because bleacher seats at the Jake can be had for 9 bucks a pop. :-) And I could go every week, instead of fenway which requires a second mortgage.

Plus the fans are super friendly. :-) They've lived with too much disappointment and ridicule to be nasty anymore.

So glad you had a chance to finally see this flick. Isn't it amazing how when we finally catch something that has been around for a long time and its brand new to us that we want to just talk about it with everyone? :-] One of my favorite baseball movies we own this one!
